Motorized Patrol
Patrolman David Sciandra won the Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversary Police Motorcycle Skills Competition on August 28, 2008 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, competing against more than 100 other motorcycle patrol officers. Officer Kurt Brown, also from Jacksonville, placed fourth in the competition. Harley-Davidson donated to JSO the 2008 Road King, one of the last to come off of the assembly line for 2008, for Sciandra winning the competition.
And, he DOES keep it clean....
There are 17 JSO officers on motorcycles...here are a few that did an escorted event for the first time in Jacksonville, Florida called "Ride For Kids"....
Always honing skills, "Grinding" is practiced here...a turn so tight and low speed that the foot boards drag the ground...
